My biggest passion is ironwork from history be it iron age, celtic or victorian.  I have a huge respect for the craftsmen that produced beautiful, functional items from iron without modern processes.

 

 

I spend hours browsing books and the internet looking at irowork from the past to get ideas of how to reproduce them for the living history market.  I started in the viking period but now I cover the period from early iron age to the 1300's.  I've also reproduced weapons from the 15th century and napleonic era.

I make copies of viking age tools based on archaelogical finds such as Mastermyers Chest.  I also reproduce domestic items and weaponry.

 

Though my period is mainly viking I am more than happy to have a go at reproducing any era.
